Idol on Fox

| | Comments (6)

The unposted secret is that Jeff and I have been watching American Idol this season. I said we weren't but we ended up doing it anyway, I just didn't post about it because I was afraid of losing Barnes and JayBear and anyone else who hate it like rat poison as friends. I'm over that particular fear as I know the love of really bad reality TV makes friendships, not breaks them. Anywho, watching Clay uptempo "Bridge over Troubled Waters" as he snapped out "wad-DUR" every time the word came around only reaffirmed my belief that Ruben is the real winner, regardless of whoever is named tomorrow night. That's my American Idol post, period.

Hmmm...I was a gung-ho Ruben fan until the past few days when I personally feel that Clay has worked for it and has honestly deserved to be where he's at. I really don't have a favorite between the two anymore. I have a feeling that no matter the outcome, they BOTH are going to become stars. So, in a conundrum, I've decided to leave it up to everyone else, because as my luck goes, I'm really good at picking the wrong person.
They both made me cry last night...although that could largely be related to pms...who knows.

The real issue here is: Has anyone else noticed how enormous Ruben's tongue is?

Hmm. Loser and a liar. Don't speak to us until you've vowed not to watch this talent show ever again. Real talent doesn't whore itself. Just ask Scott's niece. You should be ashamed.

We love you no matter what. You do know that, right? We love you, but hate your sin of watching that show. That show will put you in Hell, honey. We just want you to know that we'll love you no matter what, but if we find any American IDOL stuff in your room, we will kick you out of the house and you'll live in a van down by the river.

I don't know what is wrong with me. I am so into American Idol. All I do all day is go around saying "I'm Aiken for Clay!!"

I'm TOTALLY with you here, Beau ... right down to the "wad-DUR" thing and the Barnes/JayBear thing.

Thank god it's all over though. I was captive to that show like you wouldn't believe.
