3 under 3
Joining the ranks of Mason Thomas, 2, and Reese Charles, 1, my youngest brother, Matt, and his wife, Nicole, just welcomed their newest son and my newest nephew, Hayden Matthew into the world yesterday afternoon. He was a bit early on the arrival as we all had him penciled in for mid-August, but what can you do? I don't know what to think about having a Cancer for a nephew except that he's in pretty good company if you hold with those Crab Movers and Shakers, Max and Tyler.
Don't think the significance of three boys under three years old hasn't settled in on just about everyone who hears about it. "Holy shit!" seems to be followed with a look of great sympathy for the young parents but in all honestly, the boys are the cutest, most handsome little men ever brought forth so we all have a good idea that Hayden will be more of the same. Then again, we're not complete ostriches with our heads stuck in the sand. Coming from a family of four brothers, we all know boys will be boys.
If the kid is anything like me he will be unable to escape the pull of a Crab's life: domestic homebody who would like to do nothing more than nest with his best bud, order in, and watch TV. We're highly emotional, prone to hurt and exaggeration, co-dependent and clingy, and . . . um . . . nurturers?
OMG. Hayden's gonna be a monster. Quick! Back in the womb!
Let's hope he's musical :)

Cancer is the best astrological sign to be born under (everybody just freaking LOVES us); please ignore both the unfortunate connotations of the name and the fact that the symbol looks like a "69." Congrats, Uncle Beau--I predict that he'll be your favorite nephew within two years!

As the youngest of FIVE boys (all within 7 years--how my mother survived is beyond me.)I can speak to the whole "boys will be boys" thing. However, since 3 of the 5 are Sagitarius and 1 is a Pieces I cannot speak to the power of the Crab. I can however speak to the awesome responsibility of being the most sexually powerful of the signs...because I am SCORPIO! I see you quiver with antici.....................pation.
