Yes, that's how we say it. For anyone who caught 'Sex in the City' last night during Charlotte's first Shabbat meltdown, 'bashert' has the emphasis on the 'SHERT'. But no matter how you say it, meant to be is meant to be.
I immediately thought of you two when that word unexpectedly tumbled out of Charlotte's mouth. Having read/heard it here first, I suppose I'll always connect it with you and Jeff!

Sure enough, I immediately started to think of you two kooky kids the minute she uttered the word. I was also happy to discover I'd been saying it right all along. I guess it comes naturally to me, though, since I may not be Jewish but I'm at least a native New Yorker.
Ok...since I don't have cable I'll skip the whole "Sex in the City" thing. But, GOLLY!! Can you TELL Jeff is his Father's Son???? That charming smile!!
