mourning

I know the fickle, here today-gone tomorrow-ness of the Blog, but I can't help to mourn the loss of several significant blogs that I've had the pleasure of reading over the past few years. Thomas of Homoesque and Jon-Jon from Strip of Dirty almost disappeared simultaneously, literally in a puff of smoke, leaving the Blog desolate and less well-written. Chris at Southern Jubilee has been gone for too long, leaving me high and dry and now Barnes at Sardonic-Bomb has left the building.

It's like losing a something great. Of course I wish everyone well in their new ventures, but still, they were like home in a way and I miss them.

Homoesque was one of my favorites too. The only upside to blogs disappearing, is when you discover new ones.
