Wow, honey, the porch is so beautiful! I love the green chair and would like to sit in it. It doesn't look waterproof though... what about thunderstorms?

It looks very peaceful and lovely there. Looking at the photos, I couldn't help but imagine what mind-blowing building projects Gary would have had on his "to-do-list" this spring/summer, primarily just to spend time there with the two of you. Enjoy!

Peapod,
You have to look at the disaster that is our workshop. We'd been ignoring it all winter and just piling stuff up in it knowing that Gary would be here first thing this spring to have a fit over how messy it was and crack the whip. He was our built-in organizing and shop-cleaning guru. Now we just walk into that mess and realize he still hasn't come to do it. I miss him for a LOT of reasons, but having to clean up the shop now because he's gone is definitely on the list.

It looks wonderful. Jeff did a great job! We look foward to spending many a lazy summer afternoons sitting, relaxing and counting the traffic with you guys. (WHO gets to sit next to the LP tank???????)
And then there's always the hot tub for a change of scenery.
