We're loving, loving, loving NBC's "Heroes" and not just because I'm a comic's geek. I'm validated in this by Jeff's consistent assenting to my repeated questioning of, "do you like it? do you, do you, do you, huh?"
BUT!
I'm not sure I can support a show with the deep and philosophical motto reveiled on tonight's episode:
"Save the cheerleader, save the world".
Are ou telling me this whole thing is hinged on a Texas cheerleader? Fuck.

'Save the cheerleader, save the world' Sounds to me like the tagline from some ultra campy off-off Broadway musical.
In other words, PURE GOLD.
I'm loving Heroes too.
Due to the TIVO stuff here in Columbus, I am always a little behind but having watched said episode last night (and knowing your mother was a cheerleader), I predict a smash hit! Although it is a little scarey for us farm girls.

I think it's a great motto. Basicly, they're telling you she is the key. Think more into it, or read the message boards. It doesn't matter what she looks like or that she is a cheerleader. She's the only one that can't die. If she lives, there's a chance they can save the world. Without her, they're all fucked.

I am LOVING this show, too!!! Besides, any show that can work in the line, "Yay! Waffles!!" with SUBTITLES, no less, is a gem in my book.
