I think it is one of the most positive gay shows on television because it's premise is that you can't tell who is gay and who is straight and it is all about breaking down stereotypes. As for the twist, get over it! It's not cruel and they all know it's just a GAME. If there was no twist to make it juicy and interesting it would not be fun to watch!!! Later, when I came across "Boy Meets Boy", I was interested to see what this claimed 'revolution' of 'gay' programming was all about. Why would I expect anything less than a disgusting exploitation and objectification of gay culture? The episode this week of "Boy Meets Boy" was the first I've seen (I don't watch much TV) and I couldn't even watch the entire program. People compare the twist with that of Joe Millionaire, but it was my understanding that Millionaire did not seek to hurt those participants who were good, honest people in search of love. Rather, it seemed, from what I heard, that the women who were laughed at somewhat deserved it for being vain and money hungry! "Boy Meets Boy" has just reaffirmed my decision to leave the TV off, unless there's something good on Discovery.... I saw “Queer Eye” and found it to be, in the least, entertaining. I sat through the first "Queer eye" ep. Then they started "Boy meets boy" after about 20 minutes, the dog and I decided to go for a walk and come back in time for the final cut. Obviously I didn't miss anything. Regarding QE, I agree Carson is fun. Kyan is cute. I watch it because I've been tragically denied the "gay fashion and decorating gene". Unfortunately my apartment is decorated in "Late Sunday Dumpster Dive" and my clothes are all "VF Factory Outlet" seconds. Thank god I have my self-deprecating sense of humor and stunning good looks!
