burn, baby, burn
Yah! I’m in lypolysis again. Last time it took me more than 72 hours to burn my stores of carbohydrates before I converted over. This time it took the normative 48 hours so I’m feeling more human than potato, again.
Replicants are like any other machine; they're either a benefit or a hazard.

I’m glad Atkins works for someone. The induction phase was putting way too many calories in me to do any good. I’m going to go buy a double-wide and get on Springer now.

I didn’t realize you were doing it, Beau! I’ve discovered that for me, if I do even the tiniest bit of exercise getting into lipolysis is easy. In fact, it’s necessary. Otherwise I guess it’s like Jay says, I’m eating too many calories and I just never get there. My metabolism is like a turtle.
By the way, you’re the first person in the medical field that I know of who’s gone low-carb. Have you taken any flak from your colleagues?

I’m doing the South Beach thing (which is very “Atkins-lite”) in bits and spurts and I really like the results. It gives you a few more choices for food, but it also makes you go a little lower on the calories. Maybe you could give that a try, jay.
