Since I missed the whole “J.Lo” phenom of a few years ago, which, on the whole wasn’t necessarily a bad things since I’d end up “B.Go” pronounced “beeeeee-go” which sounds…well, lets be honest, a lot less cool than either J.Go or M.Jo, i’ve decided to jump on the next 15-minute moniker:

I give you: “iBeau”, pronounced “EYE-bo”. It could be the next evolution of Taebo except with less sweating and more eating of cookies. It’s all about the eating of cookies.

I do hold 40GB (forty “gee-bee’s”, as we say out here in Barryville) of totally useless information, though. Fer instance, in case you’re wondering…Princess Projectra, of the Legion of Super Heroes, became my all time favorite heroine when she left the group in a post-traumatic haze after the death of her lover, Karate Kid, only to resurface many episodes later as the masked, mysterious, and utterly kick ass Sensor Girl. Unlike Brainac 5, who though Sensor Girl was the reincarnated Kara-El, aka SuperGirl, who had been killed in the cross-over bamboozled Crisis on Infinite Earths, I didn’t care who it was because her power had changed from being able to cast illusions to being able to see through illusions and wouldn’tchaknowit, the entire concept of space and time was one big illusion. I mean, how deep is that?

All I’m saying is that whole useless ditty, albeit facinating, literally takes up less then .000000000001 gee-bee’s so I have plenty more where that came from. Also, I don’t have that little plastic piece that fits in my bottom. Well, that’s not exactly true but that’s something of something else for some other time, kittens.

And I should really go to bed. Honestly, this seemed funnier in my head. Promise.

I parlayed my vast repository of useless information into a semi-lucrative career: I became an editor.

But seriously, honey, are you getting enough sleep?

OMG, I had no idea you were Legionnaire material. I was (and still am, I guess), all about Element Lad. First he was in pink, and then in this blue-green phallic arrow Bob Mackie unitard.

But I loathed Mon-el, that Superboy wannabe, even dying his hair blue-back to match.

    Group counseling?

How about Cosmic Boy in the black Speedo briefs and the half-top that only covered him up to his nipples. What homo was desiging THAT year?

I highly recommend you add the new “JLA-Secret Identities” seven part series to your list. I picked up the first issue this week and was BLOWN AWAY!!! The story is a real grabber.

    John,
I KNOW!!! I actually did pick it up too. It’s the only DC title I’m reading right now but I think it’s going to be great.

And just an aside but how much am I LOVING my multiple subscriptions to a bunch of different X-Men titles and Ultimate Fantastic Four? It’s awesome not to have to trudge to the comic store every few weeks fretting the whole way that I’m going to miss an issue. I’ll never be without subscriptions again.
